Invoicing

Invoices that look like you mean it.

Branded invoices and quotes, recurring templates, and delivery by email or PDF. Built for shops that bill real work — described honestly, including what isn't ready.

Capabilities

What invoicing does

From estimate to invoice to the customer's screen — one chain, one record.

  • Branded invoice builder

Line items, tax, and your branding on every invoice — delivered as a polished PDF. Sequential numbering keeps the books auditable.

  • Quotes that convert

Branded estimates with statuses and a token-based public approval page: the customer approves or declines without logging in. Approved quotes convert to invoices in one step. (No e-signature — approval is recorded, not signed.)

  • Recurring invoice templates

Templates for repeat billing — maintenance plans, retainers, scheduled service. Invoices generate on the schedule your ATLAS host runs; timing follows the host, not a promise.

  • Refunds that stay honest

Refunds post reversing ledger entries instead of deleting history. The invoice, the payment, and the refund all stay on the record.

  • Overdue handling

Aging visibility and overdue states keep outstanding invoices in front of the office — without pretending the money moved until it did.

  • Customer portal view

Customers see their quotes, invoices, and job status through an emailed magic link. They can't pay by card inside the portal yet — that's still in test mode, and we say so here instead of in a support ticket.

Said plainly

About getting paid

Every invoicing vendor wants to say “get paid online.” Here's what ATLAS actually does today.

Invoice delivery works

Email invoices from ATLAS once your host's email (SMTP) is configured, or download branded PDFs and send them however you like. Sequential numbering and overdue tracking are real, working features.

Online card payments don't — yet

Customer card payments through the portal are locked to Stripe test mode in this version. We'd rather you plan around that fact than discover it after switching. When live payments ship, this page will say so. Ask us about the timeline.
